I’m Laura!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I’m a graphic designer, avid traveler, and am heart obsessed.

From a young age, I’ve had a passion for making things. I was always creating, but it wasn’t until I received my first computer on my 12th birthday that my interest truly expanded. I played with tools like WordArt and Windows Movie Maker, which ultimately led me to pursue a degree in Graphic Design, earning my Bachelor of Arts from Cal State Northridge in 2012.

Today, I work as a full-time in-house designer, constantly refining my craft. And after years of dreaming about it, I’m finally bringing my blog to life.

My creative passions extend beyond design. I have a bit of an obsession with personalizing everything using my Cricut (a pandemic purchase) and love the art of junk journaling—a great way to combine creativity and storytelling.

As a traveler, I thrive on exploring new places, immersing myself in local cultures, and gaining fresh perspectives wherever I go. Whether it’s visiting a new country or wandering the trails of U.S. National Parks (16 out of 60 so far), I’m continually inspired by the world’s beauty and diversity.

I’m also a firm believer in the importance of mental health and self-care. While I would describe myself as a pretty positive person, therapy has helped me grow, reflect, and navigate the challenges of adulthood.

I’m recently married and stepping into a new chapter of life—one that’s all about turning our house into a home.
